Concrete in changing light
Concrete changes through the day. A rough surface catches long shadows; a smooth one reflects a cooler, more even light.

Look for the traces of formwork, the joints between pours and the way water leaves a mark. These are part of the material’s story.
A photograph made in flat midday light and another made in the evening can reveal two very different readings of the same wall.
